The Ward Eights

The Ward Eights is a band of nine friends, joined together in a common purpose: to make your party the most hip, most fun and most memorable event of the season. We hail from Boston, MA and perform all over New England. We originally formed in 2010 in Cambridge, where we worked together at Harmonix Music Systems, makers of the Rock Band and Dance Central video games. We play a little big of everything, including funk, soul, rock, hip-hop, pop, jazz and nearly anything else you can think of. With a three-piece horn section, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and both male and female lead vocalists, we cover a LOT of musical ground. We are happy to put together a package that meets your needs and budget - complete with dance music for the reception, jazz for dinner and cocktail hour, an MC for bridal party introductions and any creative special requests you may have!
