At Dance! Eclectic we dance and teach partnered social dancing -- dancing just for the fun of it -- perfect for your wedding and after! This is the kind of dancing you see at weddings, celebrations and festivals -- in pubs, clubs and bars, in dance halls, community centers, in parks and on boardwalks -- winter and summer, for any reason or no reason. Styles include swing, waltz, foxtrot, blues, two step, salsa, cha-cha, and more.
We believe there are many "right" ways to dance, within some parameters that make moving together to music work for the dancers. We teach our students to dance with each other, not into each other.
We teach the language, the feel (and the secrets), of dancing with a partner -- giving you vocabulary and moves to play with each other, play with the music, play with the dance, make it your own -- a glorious conversation between two kindred spirits that is unique in the moment and will never happen in exactly the same way again.
Any dancer can find this kind of feeling on the dance floor -- from absolute beginners to the most experienced. It's all in how you approach it.
Teaching people to dance is inherently happy work -- (if you can even call it work).

We really enjoyed the class (which was often nearly a private lesson) and we came out with a good understanding of the basics as well as a few sweet looking turns and footwork. Great Instruction -- lots of individual attention

First DanceWe had such a great time working with Linda. She helped us pull off our dream first dance! My husband had some experiences with dancing, but my experience was limited to Bollywood style dance. She spent a lot of time understanding our experience and used it to help us learn new steps. She gave us a number of tips to help make the steps look super elegant. While we did not initially intend to choreograph our dance, but it ended up being naturally choreographed during the rehearsals. And absolutely loved how everything came together during our wedding events. Linda is an amazing instructor and we highly recommend working with her.Review response

Everybody's Got RhythmLinda is a gem and after 2 sessions made us feel completely comfortable for our wedding day. As a result, we had a New Orleans style second line entrance, danced with our parents, and I danced with my now "husband" multiple times on our wedding night - a first as he had never wanted to dance and had actively avoided dancing prior to lessons. Linda quickly found ways to relate to each of our styles and experience and made what has previously been a hurdle a hopeful beginning.
