Meticulous thought went into redesigning the customarily known wedding. The greatest concern was, what is the best way to achieve a ceremony that would be respectful of various religions? Achieved. In 2015, the Marriage Equality Act passed. Granting those of us in same-sex relationships the privilege to wed. I watched tears of happiness and heartbreak flood our country. The greatest complaint I heard from the heterosexual community, “A marriage is between a man and a woman". At the same time, many in the homosexual community said, "We no longer feel like third class citizens". This made me realize the lack of ceremonial traditions for LGBT nuptials. By researching historical figures, traditions, and periods along with observing popular wedding ceremonies, I brought Unity to life. Where traditions consist of the smallest of details to the greatest gestures of love. There are three packages available 1. Symphony Package: begins 14-12 months before Unity 2. Overture Package: begins 6-2 months before Unity 3. Minuet Package: begins 2 months to as little as 6 weeks before Unity Unity was designed with (not solely for) lesbian and gay couples in mind.
