Steve Minkin

I am a full-time professional square dance caller and line dance teacher. I call five club nights a week, including two for the largest lgbt club in the world, the Redwood Rainbows, which I founded and remain club caller for. My passion is calling for beginners and introducing them to community dances. Since 1982, I have called over 10,000 dances.

I teach and lead line dances, traditional and modern square dances, the Virginia Reel, classic circle mixers, and novelty dances. I bring my own sound system and music (laptop), and use a wide variety of music in my dance programs. You have me for up to five hours, and I can DJ and emcee, if you'd like. 

There are bands that I regularly work with, and are available at an additional cost. 

Among my decades-long clients are The San Francisco Girls Chorus, Fritz Maytag, Emandal Family Camps, Geyserville's Vineyard Club, and Westminster Woods.

I would need from you a six-foot table and electricity.
