Overview
Chateau Davell is a small family winery and event center located in the heart of the Sierra Foothills on the edge of the famous Apple Hill area. We are easily accessible from highway 50 half way between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. We provide a rustic casual experience at a very competitive price. We are passionate about sustainability and organic farming. Chateau Davell offers catering for groups up to 50 and we can recommend caterers for larger groiups. We can also provide a list of prefered vendors if needed.
We produce premium limited production wines with a focus on French varietals and blends.

Beautiful winery wedding experienceEric and the staff at Chateau Davell are incredible allies and supporters. The winery is a small family business with a lot of heart and people who care for everyone. The venue is perfect: scenic, hosts incredible wine and pizza, has tons of parking, is beautifully picturesque, accessible, and accommodating. Come check out Keith's "circle" as the best and famous alter. It's a gorgeous keystone no matter what season. And the Love Shack is just what any wedding needs to move the ceremony from the alter to a tin roof (rusted!) reception. Arranging the wedding venue and logistics was quick and easy; Eric is a pro winemaker, artist, pizza maker, and operator that made our wedding experience better than we expected.

Perfect VenueThis winery was the perfect place for our vow renewal and was exactly what we were looking for - intimate, unpretentious, and fun! The owner was super easy to work with. They also provided a great pizza and salad buffet and had a great price point. Highly recommend!
