I have always been a creative soul and a free spirit. When I met my husband, Michael, I picked up a camera and was hooked. I have been a professional photographer & Co-Owner of ShadowCatcher Photography, LLC, ever since. Because of my love of photographing weddings, I always wanted to become more involved in the wedding ceremony itself. I wanted to incorporate more of what I love…writing. That’s when I decided it was time to become a wedding officiant to write beautiful ceremonies for other couples.
I was initially ordained in 2011 by the Universal Life Church Ministry. I continued my education to become an ordained Rabbi in June 2013 with American Marriage Ministries and am always continuing my education. In February 2024, I received my CPWO - Certified Professional Wedding Officiant through The International Association of Wedding Officiants (IAPWO). I recently received my Wedding and Event Planner and Designer Certification through the Wedding MBA – Wedding Merchant Business Academy.
